1. Do teenagers of different subcultures get along with each other, what about intercultural dating and marriage?
2. Do different ethnicities/religions accept homosexuality and for instance same-sex marriage?
3. What is traditional culture in Macedonia/the Netherlands?
4. What kind of schools are there for your level, are they separated according to religion and or ethnicity?
5. What ethnic groups are mostly in the media in a negative way and why?
6. Are the different ethnic groups represented equally in government on the several levels?
7. What stereotypes do people hold about eachother?
8. What issues do different groups of people face everyday? (example: lower class, unemployed...etc)

1. Yes, teenagers of different subcultures do get along with each other here in Holland. And yes, people from different cultures can have relationships and can get married.
2. Yes, we accept homosexuality and they can get married here. Some religions here in Holland do not like it that they are allowed to get married. However, this is not a very big issue.
3. We have a queen, a lot of people like soccer and cheese. We love our bikes and every year we have Queensday. And we have caramelwaffels (in Dutch: stroopwafels). Dutch people always want to be on time and are down to earth.

This is a Caramelwaffle (stroopwafel)

4. We have public schools and special schools. Some schools are specialized in a level or more.
5. A lot of ethnic groups are shown in the media, but not always in a negative way. Turkish, Surinamese and Maroccan people are mostly shown in the media in a negative way, but that does not mean we all think that they are criminals.
6. Yes, we have people in the government who are representing different ethnic groups. We think that people from different backgrounds have the opportunity to get a job in the government. It may not be always be in balance but it is working.
7. We have stereotypes. The Dutch are gready, Belgians are stupid, Maroccans are criminals, the Surinamese are lazy and so on...
8. Issues can be something like, employers have prejudices about immigrants and they do not always want to hire them. and so on...

Reflection on the project:

We liked the project, we learned a lot. We do recommend this project for future classes, but the project should not be planned at the end of the year because it gave a lot of pressur. The communication between the Macedonians and us was not always very good, we think that it very hard to work on something if the other side does not react fast enough. And that is why we also think that the project better works if is planned at the beginning of the year or later but not at the end of the year.
